“A stitch in time saves nine”
is an English proverb. It describes the benefits of working hard now in order to save time later.
Finally started on one of the projects I have on my list. I've been feeling the urge to pick up needle and thread and do some stitching. I hope to be finished with this one soon, can you guess why?
Thankful Thursday
Be it ever so humble there's no place like home.
I'm so thankful for our home, not just because it's a roof over our head. I'm thankful for the love within it's walls, the family and friends that come to visit, and the precious memories that live here. 💗
Until Next Time
My Grandma used to say that to me, when I was rushing things!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny, all the sayings we grew up saying and probably didn't even stop to wonder what they meant? And I've been itching to do a project too! I recently bought a needle punch kit and hope to get started soon. I used to love cross-stitch, but have never done crochet or knitting.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I know the reason why, unless there is another baby on the way named Patrick or something like that! I don't think it's for "trick or treat". LOL.I will be anxiously waiting to find out...
ReplyDeleteThere's no place like home. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess this one's for St. Patrick's Day? Probably on account that's my birthday, I'm partial to the green.
ReplyDeleteHome is so special. I am thankful and blessed everyday for the roof over my head and the blessings within. God is SO good!! xo
ReplyDeleteSeeing that you're using green thread my guess would be something for St Patrick's Day. GM
