Thoughts and Tidbits

Today's Tidbits

Reading...Kelly's Koffee Shop by Dianne Harman

Listening... Some days I'll listen to KLTJ radio, it's a great Christian station. They have several talk shows I enjoy.

Watching... Still watching the Price Is Right every weekday morning at ten. I enjoy watching the games the contestants play to win prizes.

Loving... My swing, the weather is gradually getting tolerable outside and I'm on the porch most afternoons. I'm loving that fall is almost here.

Thinking... about the upcoming holidays and how much I enjoy them.  Good food, good fellowship and good times.

Feeling... Down and out . . . can't seem to get my mojo running. I have been in a slump, that's where I'm at and I can't seem to get out.  Maybe I have an early case of holiday blues...Another {{sigh}}.

Celebrating... Always fun to celebrate birthdays and we've had a few lately.  Merica, Hazel and Henry's are all close together.  It was a party every weekend for 3 weeks!

Thankful…Living one day at a time as the Good Lord provides. So thankful for my life and family.  Also very thankful that my hip has healed and my step is almost back to normal.  Thank You Lord

Out the Window... Dark and gloomy, rainy skies.  Rain and stop, rain and stop, and so it goes.  Looks cold but it's 81* and muggy.

Can I {{sigh}} again? Cold weather where are you?

The orthopedist's office just called and moved today's appointment to next Wednesday.  I'm glad, didn't feel like going today anyway. :)

Until Next Time

Did you know some of the old episodes with Bob Barker are on you tube?

    1. I do know about the tube!! I didn't think the show would be the same when Bob Barker left, but I think Drew Carey is doing a great job.

  2. I enjoyed reading about your activities here. I haven't watched Price is Right in a long time, but always enjoyed it with Bob Barker years ago. My back is still bothering me so I spend a LOT of time in my recliner but since I enjoy knitting and crochet, sitting doesn't bother me much!
We're at about 50F today. I've had the balcony door open just a bit for some fresh air, but Hubby quickly gets colder. Me? I'm never cold anymore!
    Blessings and hugs,

    1. Funny how time changes things, at one time I was the one who was always cold, now it doesn't take much for Mr D to be cold. Like you, I'm never cold anymore. lol

  4. We have been very warm and humid and gray here lately too. After our week in the mountains this has been hard to take, especially because we've both been battling these colds or whatever it is ever since we came home. We are mostly better now, but still just so tired. No mojo here either. I am trying to think about the holidays ahead, and get bogged down just thinking about it. Yes, some cooler weather would help! So glad your hip is so much better! That is really good news. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy the holidays a lot more this year with your family! Take care and enjoy your porch when you can!

  5. Good to hear that your temperatures are getting somewhat cooler ( probably too slowly for your liking). It's nice to be able to sit out on the porch. I hope that will help bring your spirits up💗💗
