Monday Coffee Talk

"This Memorial Day, we remember with gratitude the brave souls who gave their lives for our freedom. Their sacrifice is the heartbeat of our liberty—may we never forget."

 DOLDRUMS

(a state or period of inactivity, stagnation, or depression)

Do you ever have them?

They come upon me from out of nowhere and I find myself {{sighing}} until they are gone.  I call it a humdrum day!

HUMDRUM

(lacking excitement or variety; dull; monotonous:)

Our flowers have been so pretty this year, I have enjoyed my time on the porch, just a swangin'.

Mr D enjoys porch-sitting too.

I haven't shared much about Merica lately, she's growing like a weed and busy, busy, busy.
I haven't seen her since my birthday in February, now that school is out maybe I'll see her more.

Bandit and Lily

She loves her new friends♥

Her new treehouse, a work in progress.

I see some fun summer vacation days for this sweet little girl.

More Merica Pics:

I guess that's a Merica overload, but it's hard to pick just one photo to share☺

I'm still keeping myself busy with diamond art.

Getting my diamonds together to start a new one.

On your mark, get set, GO!

To God Be the Glory, Great Things He Had Done.

All for His Glory

by Phoebe (with love)

Each breath I take, a gift so true,
Each morning bathed in skies of blue.
With hands to serve, and heart to pray,
I walk the narrow, faithful way.

Not for my name, nor earthly story—
But all I do, be for His glory.

Blessings to All

Until Next Time

  2. Oh, Merica is such a cutie! She's a true Texas beauty. I've noticed on Fox and Friends on Tuesday mornings they have what they call "Texas Tuesday", and people send in pictures of their children or themselves dressed in Texas Style. I think you should send in some pictures of Merica! She would be a real Texas Star! And her own treehouse????!!!! Wow! What little girl (or boy) wouldn't love to have that! I know I would love it myself. I used to beg my daddy to build me a treehouse, but all we had were big tall skinny pine trees in our yard, and he just never got around to it. My girlfriend Rhonda had a treehouse in a big old camphor tree, and we used to play up there for hours! I'd still love to have one! What fun. I love the pictures from your porch, and even Mr. D enjoying some porch sittin' with you! I love all your little garden flags and pretty things. You really do have a lovely place to sit and enjoy your coffee and flowers and birds and fresh air before it gets too hot. I know, nowadays finding the time to do that before it gets too hot is getting harder and harder to do. And also we have mosquitoes starting up to make it even harder. Well, I've enjoyed our Monday morning "coffee/tea" time together. Thank you for this wonderful post. Have a blessed and peaceful Memorial Day.

    1. I'm glad there are no doldrums for you!! I don't have a front porch, if we want to sit in front we sit just inside the garage. We do that often just to be able to see our neighbors!!
