Maundy Thursday invites us to slow down and remember the tender, humble love Jesus showed in the Upper Room. It’s the night He knelt to wash weary feet, shared a simple meal, and gave us a new commandment—to love one another as He has loved us. As we pause on this holy evening, may our hearts grow quieter, softer, and more grateful for the Savior who serves, forgives, and walks with us still.
~ Maundy ~
Middle English: from Old French mande, from Latin mandatum ‘mandate, commandment’, from mandatum novum ‘new commandment’ (see John 13:34).
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. John 13:34
Until Next Time
