I've been spending some pretty days on the porch!
Come sit on the porch with me
We’ll have coffee or we’ll have tea.
It’s a lovely day to be in the swing
We’ll laugh and talk and maybe sing
We’ll trade our stories, old and new,
The
kind that warm a heart clear through.
The flowers, birds and butterflies too
Will greet us with a how do you do.
We’ll feel God’s peace drift in the air,
A tender whisper saying He is there.
So come on over, don’t stay away
I’m waiting for you in the swing today.
Until Next Time

How lovely to have the weather to be able to sit on the porch. It's raining here!

DeleteDid you write that poem? I love it! Perfect for porch sitting and porch swinging! Such beautiful pictures!! We had a rainy/cloudy chilly week, but today is lovely and I need to go sit outside in the garden with Blackie, but I haven't done it yet. Just got too busy I guess. Now I want to! And I'd LOVE to sit on the porch with you! Wish it wasn't so far away!! Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteYes, I wrote the poem, sometimes I get inspired. lol Cool and rainy here today, no porch sitting for me!!! Have a great weekend.
DeleteYour porch and yard and all the flowers and decor are charming. Love it! I don't have a porch but I do have a patio in the front yard and a bigger covered patio in the backyard - but there's something about a big front porch that I have always appreciated. Enjoyed the post today as well as your poem.
