Friday at the Well

This week’s High Lights from my morning devotion with In Touch devoted living by Charles Stanley.

Saturday - May 2nd

 . . . deny ourselves and follow Jesus . . .

. . . set our thoughts on things above, and focus on what is true, right, pure, and lovely.

Sunday - May 3rd

Referencing Mary and Martha:

To have fellowship with Jesus, we may have to leave some things undone.

Establishing a habit of communing with the Lord is essential to spiritual health.

Monday – May 4th

We have a loving heavenly Father who honors the heartfelt commitment to walk according to His will.

Tuesday – May 5th

God is pleased when we show His love to those around us, including those who do us wrong. After all, the Lord said, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you . . .

Before assuming Jesus’ capacity for forgiveness and love is out of reach for human beings, remember that the Holy Spirit dwells in believers, helping us do what seems impossible.

Wednesday - May 6th

Living a Christ-centered life filled with peace and joy depends upon our commitment to focus our mind and heart on Him regularly.

Thursday - May 7th

God's love is available to everyone. It is inexhaustible. The Lord does not have favorites, but He does have intimates. These are followers who spend time with Him, talking and listening, walking in obedience, and desiring to know and love Him with their whole heart.

Friday - May 8th

Ephesians  4:29

. . . "Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear."

. . . pray, requesting that the Lord guide your tongue so your words will point others to Him.

I enjoyed my morning devotions from Charles Stanley this week.  Next week I'll be reading from Billy Graham's, Unto The Hills.

Hope each of you have a very happy and blessed week ahead.

Until Next Time
