Welcome to Toni Taddeo’s Tuesday 4, hosted by Annie.
Those Little Annoyance’s
1. What pet peeves
bother you the most?
Oh mercy… what is it with people who refuse to use their turn signal? Not every intersection has a red light, folks. Some of us are just out here trying to guess whether you’re turning left, right, or planning to camp out in the middle of the road. It shouldn’t feel like a pop quiz every time I drive through town.
2. Do you air your
grievances or keep things to yourself?
Most of the time, poor Mr. D gets the full weather report — clouds, thunder, and the occasional breeze of common sense. Thankfully, we usually end up agreeing on whatever I’m fussing about, which helps the storm pass quicker.
3. What government
ordinances, city requirements, or red tape annoy you?
In our little town, it takes an act of Congress just to get a permit for anything. Want to fix something? Build something? Breathe in the general direction of a project? Better pack a lunch and settle in. It’s aggravating as all get‑out.
4. When life’s
annoyances gang up on you, do you take it to the Lord in prayer? What else
helps you regain your equilibrium?
I talk to the Lord about
everything — big, small, and in‑between. When life piles up, I slip away
somewhere quiet to regroup, breathe, and think things through. A little
solitude, a whispered prayer, and the reminder that God is still steady… that’s
usually all it takes to bring me back to center.
With that said, those tiny irritations
really can get on our last nerve.
I like the advice someone
gave my daughter Tammy,
“Choose your battles!”
And isn’t that the truth?
Not every pebble in the road deserves our energy. Some things we can simply
step over, breathe past, and keep moving with grace.
I always try to keep my
heart light and enjoy the peace that comes from letting the small stuff stay
small.
Thank you Annie for hosting!
Until Next Time
