Friday Fotos

 Another visit to Sylvan Beach.

Sylvan Beach is very close to where we live, just a few blocks and we're there.

Only one fisherman, it's too hot to be out there.

The park is divided into two sections, the boat ramp and the actual park.  These first few pictures were taken at the boat ramp.  That's Mr D waiting in the car while I snap some pictures.

There's a time each year
That we always hold dear
Good old summertime
With the birds and the trees'es
And sweet scented breezes
Good old summertime
When your day's work is over
Then you are in clover
And life is one beautiful rhyme
No trouble annoying
Each one is enjoying
The good old summertime

  2. What a beautiful park entrance! Some of those scenes look familiar. I will ask David if I've ever been there. We once held a work event at a park over that way, but I'm not sure which one. Have a wonderful weekend, Mary!

  3. Those are beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing them with us. I really love flower beds that are massed full of flowers like that. Stay cool my friend.
    Blessings,

  4. Nice to see the obvious pride the city (county?) maintenance workers take in keeping this park so lovely. And the pagoda! I wonder if weddings aren't held there.
    Happy Friday!

    1. Although the city claims it, it is a county park. AND, the gazebo is used for various things, a lot of birthday parties for sure. Happy Friday to you too!!

  5. Just look at that blue blue sky!! We're having very smoky skies here and it's hard to breathe. Hopefully soon our sky will also clear...better yet, we'll get rain. GM

  6. Beautiful photos, Mary! The summertime is beginning to fade. Our days are much shorter here in central Florida. Those flowers in the park are lovely!
