May might be here but we're still having April Showers!
It's 10:30am, 66*, windy and raining, the house is dark and it looks like we're in for a dreary day.

2 Samuel 22:29
"For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness."
"For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness."
Certainly not what you want on the first day of May! But I know the rain is needed and the yard and plants need this good drink of water. It seems they love rainwater much better than water from the hose. 😊
Something a little cheerier, the lilies have opened and they are beautiful!

I wish the blooms would last longer.
Time for another cup of coffee and maybe a cookie!
Until Next Time

Dear Mary, your photos are absolutely stunning. Here in Montreal, the lilacs dry up and die quickly once the heat and humidity set on. Fortunately the lilies tend to thrive, as well as the Hibiscus, but not many flowers can handle the intense heat and humidity...quite honestly, neither can I.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonder filled weekend. God bless you.
Cold here but it was sunny.
ReplyDeleteSpring blooms never last long enough.
Beautiful lilies!
ReplyDeleteWe're also experiencing a rare cool and rainy day in central Alabama. I need to remember this when July and August roll around!
Lovely photos, Mary! Please redirect the rain to Florida. We need it so badly!! xo
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. It's supposed to be 32F here tonight. I'm ready for spring to be here.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
