My photo today was taken a few years ago by Tammy. She had just arrived at the house when she noticed a hawk perched on the street light. At the time we had Bitsy Baby and Buddy Boy and I was always alert to hawks flying around because they are famous for diving at little creatures.
Another photo of Tammy while she was on a mission trip to Africa.
My girl so far from home and loving on an elephant! WoW

Beautiful photos and wonderful blessings. Hugs my friend.

Dear Mary, what lovely photos!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that elephant looks so big and your daughter so small! I'm glad he was a friendly elephant! And yes, I worry about the hawks and owls when it comes to our small furry friends...my "kids'" two pekingnese doggies and our kitty Blackie. But thankfully no predator birds have taken an interest in them. They seem to be more focused on smaller critters like moles and rats and snakes and maybe even smaller squirrels or birds. Your "Dogbabies" sure were cute. I know you miss them a lot. (((HUGS)))
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that photo of your daughter and elephant, just wow, smiles. Wishing you a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, and especially those little pups!! Great memories here this morning! Happy weekend, Mary! xo
ReplyDeleteAw, what sweet puppy faces! ... and I'd love the opportunity to hug an elephant. "Lucky Duck, Tammy"!
ReplyDeleteThose hawks and other big birds frankly give me the creeps. Our Grace doesn't even weight 10#, but we've never let her outside by herself.
That hawk is a pretty one!!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine hugging an elephant!!
Great choices. Love the elephant!!
ReplyDeleteNice picture Tammy took of the hawk.
