Random Ramblings

Lazy Mornings....

I enjoy lazy mornings.  For many years I didn't even know what a lazy morning was, too busy working, keeping house and raising four children.  I was constantly on the move.  I can remember thinking, one of these days, one of these days I will retire, hire a house keeper and enjoy grand children.

~  CONFESSION ~
(Mr D. did help with raising the children, I sure didn't do that by myself.)

This is the swing on my little back porch, I often sit here in the mornings and talk with God.

I enjoy lazy mornings, and I sure have a lot of them these days.  Yep, retirement came, kids grew up and grandchildren were plenty.  I never did get a house keeper, I guess I'm saving that for another day.

~ CONFESSION ~
(I really don't want anyone else in my house cleaning my stuff.
I sure need to get past that feeling.)

I enjoy lazy mornings.   A great time to do a little cross stitch.  I love to cross stitch, but sometimes I have burn out and have to stop for a while.  I don't mind, because there's always something else catching my interest.

I enjoy lazy mornings, especially when a good Bible Study is happening!  Last year Peggy, my youngest daughter, had Bible Study at her house at 9am ~ that's early when you're retired.  It was so much fun.  We would gather in the living room, but not before stopping in the kitchen for hot coffee and something to eat.  You know how church ladies like to eat!  It  was a very relaxed  lazy atmosphere and made for a wonderful time of fellowship and God's Word.

This is Peggy, a lady with a true heart for God.
Hey girl, it's time for another Bible Study!

I enjoy lazy mornings because if Mr D's feeling lazy too,
he takes me out for breakfast!

 Enough rambling for one day.
Wishing you Happy Days
Until Next Time
