When I was a little girl my Mother would make doll furniture for me out of cardboard. I loved it and my paper dolls loved it too.
I was remembering those days of long ago and decided to make a cardboard bed! First I made a pattern and cut it out of cardboard, then painted it white and added a lace dust ruffle..
Added a mattress, comforter and pillow.
Maybe some day soon I'll add some more pieces.
It's certainly going on my "to do" list.
No matter how many years go by, the little girl inside me never goes away.

ReplyDeleteThe little girl in us never leaves. My 97 year old grandma said she felt 16 on the inside. I adore what you made--so cute.

Soooo cute! My sister made a few pieces for my catalog paper dolls when I was little. Those were good days. I still love dolls and have them on beds with quilts, pillows, and sheets.
