Mincemeat Pie

It's one of my favorites!  This past Christmas and Thanksgiving was the first time I can remember when we didn't have Mincemeat Pie.  I was going to make one for Christmas but waited so late to buy the ingredients, the store was sold out of mincemeat, or least the mincemeat I like to use.  I'm very picky about it....I do not like the dry mincemeat that comes in a box.
I love None Such Mincemeat, by far the best in the land!
When I bought groceries this morning they had restocked and it was on the shelf.  Happy me!
I don't bother to make my own pie crust ~ Pillsbury's is better than mine anyway!
Here it is, ready for the oven.  I gave it a little egg wash so it would be a pretty golden brown color.
Looks so good!

Uncle Marvin sure was glad he stopped by for a visit.
We all enjoyed a piece while it was still warm.

Until Next Time
Nothing says lovin' like something from the oven!
