Porch Sitting with Helen!

Hello Blogger Friends and Facebook Friends too!  It's a beautiful day and you'll never guess what I have done....

I have set up my old desktop computer in the garage!  Yes I have.  It's such a gorgeous day, much too nice to be inside.  I'm out here with the garage door open, listening to the birds singing, the leaves whispering in the breeze, and an occasional car passing by.  I figure I can enjoy this space until the end of May, then the heat will get to be too much ~ but I'm going to enjoy it while I can!

Coffee on the porch with Helen ~ I love her writings, what a wonderful lady she must have been.

A warm ready smile or a kind,
thoughtful deed
Or a hand outstretched
in a hour of need
Can change our whole outlook
and make the world bright
Where a minute before
just nothing seemed right~
It's a wonderful world
and it always will be
If we keep our eyes open
and focused to see
The wonderful things
man is capable of
When he opens his heart
To God and His love.

What more can we ask of our Father than to know we are never alone, that His mercy and love are unfailing, and He makes all our problems His own.

I've been busy all morning, think I'll stop for a while and enjoy the rest of the day.

Hope you're having a great day too!

  2. Mary, I love your mug! Isn't it great and so therapeutic to be out in nature, listening to the birds and breathing in the fresh air. Yes, great time to do it. I personally cannot handle extreme heat and humid conditions so I, like yourself, enjoy time outside when the temperatures are comfortable. I love your photos, so glad you got some time outside!
