Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon

The best gifts aren't those wrapped in pretty paper with a big bow.

As pretty as a wrapped gift can be,
the best gifts come from our actions, straight from our heart.

    To your friend, loyalty;
    To your enemy, forgiveness;
    To your boss, service;
    To a child, a good example;
    To your parents, gratitude and devotion;
    To your mate, love and faithfulness;
    To all men and women, charity;
          and To God, your life.

    Romans 6:22-23 (NIV)  But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Just want to take a moment to thank each of you who stop by for a visit and leave a comment.  I enjoy everyone of them and I'm always anxious to see what you have to say.  You're very special ladies and very special blogger and facebook friends
    Love to all....

    Until Next Time
    Always write your  sorrows in sand and your blessings in stone.

    1. Oops.... Out of habit on my old phone I always hit the back button. On this phone that causes duplicate comments. Old habits die hard! :-)

  3. Mary, such a great post this morning! Our actions always speak louder than words - or wrapped gifts! We are blessed to have such a good supporting and faith-filled group of friends here on Blogger! When I talk about my internet friends, people think I'm nuts - but only because they don't know of the bond we can form here. Have a good day!
