Morning Coffee on the Porch

His Mercy Endures Forever

It's a beautiful morning on the porch, just a little hot, but it is summertime after all. God meets me here each morning, He's always anxious to hear what I have to say.  Some mornings we just have quiet time, some mornings I just can't seem to stop talking and other mornings He does all the talking!  Those are the best mornings!
I love this quote from Patsy Clairmont
~ How I love that we can't be too young or too old, too broken or bruised, too tired or tattered for God to work in us! His mercies are new every morning. ~

His mercy is new every morning, I receive it every morning.  His mercy endures forever!
Time alone with God every morning before you start the day can change your circumstances and move mountains in front of you.  His mercy endures forever!
A highlight in the Book of 2 Chronicles is verse three of chapter seven: “When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord saying; ‘For He is good, for His mercy endures forever.’” That verse, while found somewhat hidden in what could be called a history book, reminds us of a reality that can get us through life, regardless of the circumstances we’re facing.  When we remember God is good and His mercy endures forever, we can face any hardship and any loss.  Remember this today:  He is good, and His mercy endures forever.  And we’ll make it.
From the Women of Faith Devotional Bible

I love to study in the Book of Psalm, so many times King David reminds us of God's mercy.

Praise the Lord!
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!  For His mercy endures forever.
Psalm 106:1

Those same words are found again in
Psalm 118:29.

Until Next Time
His mercy endures forever!

  4. There's an old song called "Mercy and Grace" and it came to mind as I read your sweet words. I can't remember all the words, but part of it says something about wiping the frown and replacing with a smile....sometimes ONLY GOD can do that for me! You're so precious, my Friend. (and I love that mug....and Patsy Clairmont!!!) HOPE your day is chock full of blessings.
