Coloring....

I guess you might think I've reverted back to my childhood because I've been doing a lot of coloring lately. Even in my old older age I have several coloring books, colors and map colors ~   and I've been putting them to use every night while watching television, or listening to the radio.

As I was coloring these scriptures kept coming to my mind.

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they?  Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? So why do you worry about clothing?
Matthew 6:26-27

Consider the lilies, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Luke 12:27

God is so good!

He cares for the birds and because He loves us more He will also care for us.  He clothes the lilies with extravagant beauty so, it stands to reason because of the superior love God has for His children, He will also clothe us and hold our life very tenderly in His hands.

God is benevolent and giving.

God alone is our Provider ~ He owns everything.

Until Next Time
Wishing you Happy & Blessed Days!

  6. Coloring in a book can calm us when we get bored with TV which I do get very often these days. God knows our hearts and comforts us even when we aren't aware that we may need it.
    Have a Blessed day,Mary!

  9. I love your coloring...beautiful...and the scriptures are such good reminders of God's love and provision for all of His creation. I gave out several of these coloring books for adults as Christmas gifts. I neglected to give myself one, so I think I need to go get one too. That would be very relaxing. We are never to old to enjoy life's simple pleasures!! Color on!!!
