I Pledge....

Dear Blogger Friends, sorry I haven't been by to visit and leave comments!  My laptop died...I was hoping it  could be repaired, but alas, repairs were so expensive we decided the best course of action was a new laptop.  WooHoo for me, I think.

You know the old saying, "Money talks?"  Well seems like mine is always saying  good-bye!

My post today has been in my draft folder for some time, since I haven't had a  computer, I haven't been able to get a new post ready.

Thank goodness for those forgotten drafts! They sure come in handy!

Pledge to the Bible

I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God's holy Word.  I will make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path and will hide it's words within my heart that I might not sin against God.

Pledge to the Christian Flag:

I pledge allegiance to the Christian Flag and to the Savior for whose Kingdom it stands.  One Savior, crucified, risen and coming again with life and liberty to all who believe.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag:
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United Stares of America.  And to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The pledge of allegiance to the
Texas state flag:
"Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible."

From Tim Tebow
If you ever start to believe the lie that you're not special, remember that God created you in his image, he created you in love by love and for love and he has a purpose for your life!

  2. Love the flags!

My neighbor recently started flying a Christian flag. I am not sure why he changed. One day a few months ago, down went the regular flag and up went the Christian one. Something had happened around that time, if I remember correctly, with government and politics. Maybe he is making a statement. But whatever his reasons, I like to look out there and see it.

  5. Bad news: computer died. Good news: you have a new one! I remember saying the Pledge of Allegience when I was in school. I don't think that's done any more. Have a great day.

  8. Sorry about your computer, but happy you could get a new one. It's always a bother, though, to bring everything back to the way you want it. Enjoyed the draft you finished. Tim Tebow is amazing!
