Waiting For Light

I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
John 8:12

Having my coffee in a teacup this morning and enjoying this sweet book!

Wouldn't it be cool to have a lighted path in front of you that showed you where to go and what to do?  You do, you know!

Jesus is the light of the world.  Staying close to Him, reading his Word and praying means that your path will be lit.

Does that mean you always know exactly what to do at any given moment?  No.  It does mean that if you wait, He will guide you.  If you rush ahead ~ making decisions and choices on your own ~ you'll end up in darkness.

You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
Psalm 18:28

Until Next Time
Glory in Christ and you can bask in His light forever.

  1. You're a wise woman, my Friend. Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

  2. Thank you for those words. What would we do without that Light?

  3. ... my God turns my darkness into light.
    Psalm 18:28

    This is so true.

    Blessings, Mary!

  4. Yes, indeed, Mary. We just need to be quiet and listen for His direction. Not always easy, but He is always there for us. What a blessing!

  5. I have turned to that verse many times in my life when darkness seemed to engulf me and I lost my way.. He truly is the Light

    Have a wonderful Tuesday
