The Flower Shop

We had such a great time on our day trip to see the blue bonnets.  I'm saving the blue bonnet pictures for another time, today I'm sharing pictures of a lovely little flower shop in
Chappel Hill, Texas.

I can't believe I didn't even get the name of the shop.  We saw it down the street and took off walking, anxious to see what treasures it might hold.  That's my dear friend, Mary that you see.  She's a smart lady, when the rest of walked she brought the car and parked it close by.  When we got ready to leave it was right there, no more walking!

Pretty flowers by the entrance.

I fell in love with this sweetie.  Talk about easy-going...strangers coming in and out of the shop and he just lays there on his back sleeping....not a care in the world.  I talked to him, and petted him, and he managed to barely open his eyes.  He was so soft..you could tell he got a lot of love and care.

A pretty setting just outside.

You could step out the side door and find yourself in this awesome outside retreat.  It was so pretty out there, a great place to take a little rest.

And rest we did, for just a few minutes, then it was time to get back on the road.

I sat here for the longest time.  It was such a nice place I hated to leave, but we had other things we wanted to do and time was passing.

It was so nice to share this wonderful day, seeing wonderful sights with wonderful friends!
