Mr D and I love to ride around our little part of the world.  So much to see and enjoy.  I've noticed all the pretty gates around here...so I've been taking pictures!!

This one's pretty but just too formal for me.

This chain link gate is very country looking, has a lot of character.  I like it, but it's not my favorite.

I really like this white picked gate, you would think there would be a quaint little cottage  up the drive, but no,  it' a huge home sitting right on Sylvan Bay.

This one has a European look, maybe English or French. 

This one is my favorite!  I can just imagine a little white bungalow with chintz curtains, lots of lace and crochet and flower gardens in bloom.

I can't decide if I'm very romantic

or if there's still a little girl living inside me. 

Either way, it's always nice to dream.
