Q & A

There's something new today. I always enjoy 'question and answer' posts. So many of you give such funny and witty answers.  I'm neither funny nor witty but I'll give my best shot!  lol

It's a great way to get to know the ladies of blogland.

I found a list of 100 questions, I'm thinking I'll do 10 a week and see where it goes.  By the end of ten weeks you should know me inside out and upside down!

WHAT IS ON THE WALLS IN YOUR BEDROOM?
Family pictures everywhere!
I love looking at them before I go to bed each night,
and seeing them first thing every morning.

DO YOU PLAY BOARD GAMES? WHICH ONES?
When the kids were little we played a lot of board games, not so much anymore.  Everything now is digital.  We still have our scramble game though.  When my grandson, Blake, was in 6th grade he would come over every afternoon after school and we would play scramble.

WHAT MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO?
Most of the time I'm listening to Southern Gospel, it is my favorite.  I love the Gaither Homecoming shows and have a lot of those CD's.  I also love the old church standards...the Baptist Hymnal being one of my favorite songbooks.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME YOU WERE BORN?
I know this but just can't remember it right now!

WHAT DO YOU WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING RIGHT NOW?
The lost to be saved.  I know time is running out....my heart is heavy for those who don't know the Lord.

WHO DO YOU MISS?
Mr D and I have lost a lot of family over the past years, I would love to see them all.  I guess I miss my Daddy the most with my sister-in-law Norma after that.  I would love to talk with Daddy again and I would love to see Norma at my table having one more cup of coffee.  Blessed to know there is a sweet by and by!

ARE YOU IN LOVE WITH ANYONE ?
I sure am, I think I've been in love with Mr D all of my life, it just took me 16 years to find him.  Or did he find me?  lol

WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU KISSED?
The one and only, Mr D.

WHAT'S YOUR MIDDLE NAME?
My middle name is no secret,
most of my friends call me Mary Jane.

THE BEST TV SHOW EVER CREATED?
Do I have to limit it to one?
I'm going to really show my age now....my favorite tv shows, the best ever created are the old variety shows of the 50's and 60's.  Perry Como, The Ed Sullivan Show, The Milton Berle Show, The Red Skelton Show,  Andy Williams, Dinah Shore, Hit Parade....just to name a few!

Hope you enjoyed my Q & A post.  If you have any question you would like to ask me, please put it in the comments and I will include it in next week's post!

A little praise before I close...

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,  knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
James 1:2-4

If our faith was never tested, how would we know we hand any?  When things go wrong and we can still say, "I believe in God no matter what happens," we show our faith to be real.

Until Next Time
Profiting From My Trials

  2. I really enjoyed your answers, Mary! I remember those TV shows. Such gems! I miss my husband Alan even more so this year for some reason. It's been 15 years since he's gone to heaven. What a wonderful thing to have known your Mr D for so very long!
