Hello Monday!
Today I choose....
....to live an awesome week
....to live with an expanded heart
....To embrace my strength within (if I can find it..lol)
....to move with a focused mind
....to be thankful for all I have
....to live my life for God's glory
....and to love the Lord my God
with all my heart and soul.

Coffee Trivia
Cowboy Coffee originated from Cowboys using there dirty socks out on the trail as coffee filters. They filled there sock with coffee beans, immersed the sock in boiling water then squeezed the coffee into there cups.
Isn't that disgusting?!!
I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;
He is a kind, compassionate friend;
If I but ask Him, He will deliver,
Make of my troubles quickly an end
I must tell Jesus!
I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus!
I must tell Jesus!
Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

It's always nice to receive these little treasures in the mail. Makes me feel so blessed to know someone is thinking of me!
Thank You Debbie!

I think most of you know that I love old houses and pretty porches!

Let's sit here and enjoy the day!
Hope you have a great week!
Until Next Time
It will be worth it all, when we see Jesus!
Okay, I'm telling myself that boiling the dirty socks would get rid of the stench...but it's not helping much. Great post...love the choices you're making today, sweet Ms. Mary. Love you bunches.
ReplyDeletePlease remind me to never drink Cowboy Coffee!!! lol
DeleteMy late father in law would make coffee that way---NOT a used sock, lol. Love that car, Mary. Loveeeee the post and I so would enjoy that porch, although, it is very hot and humid, just saying, smiles.
ReplyDeleteI know, it's hot and humid here too. I think if we pretend we're on that porch, we can also pretend it's a breezy 70 degrees, or even 68 degrees, oh shoot, let's just pretend it's freezing outside! lol
DeleteI think I'll pass on the cowboy coffee!! LOL You know I love front porches. That one is gorgeous! Let's sit a spell and visit!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to sit and chat on that porch!
ReplyDeleteYou know I do love that page on FB...I love Front Porch Sitting too!That one is just right for us to sit awhile and sip tea or coffee, I love them both.
ReplyDeleteFor the Cowboy Coffee,none for me, but I guess it's a way to save time,wash their socks and make coffee at the same time.
Love that old hymn, I go around singing it to myself.
Oh yucky on that Cowboy Coffee. My grandma used to boil her coffee in a pan, then drop an egg (in the shell) in the pot to settle the grounds. I guess it also cooked the egg. Your pics are beautiful and I love the front porch. Would really enjoy that. Now the song I remember from one of my favorite preachers when I was a teen. He would hold revivals at our church and play guitar and sing that song. Loved him. I Must a Tell Jesus. I still sing that sometimes when I have a problem.
ReplyDeleteWell the dirty socks about gagged me! LOL! Oh I love the pretties that Debbie sent to you. Isn't she just the sweetest gal? She has such a giving heart. Miss Mary...I am on my way to do the road trip with you in that COOL and AMAZING car! WOW! We'd be riding in style! Have a good day! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSo glad I don't drink coffee!!
