One Day

I found this online,
such a simple little verse with a very big message.
It touched my heart.

When my body is  tired and sore,
I remember that one day I will carry my burdens no more.

When the world seems as dark as night,
I remember that one day I will only walk in the light.

When it seems as if I am going nowhere,
I remember that I am on the journey home.

As long as I remember these things,
I can face anything,
as it will be nothing but a bump in the road
on my way to see my King.

I’m going home with Jesus in the twinkling of an eye,
I’ve made my reservations for a mansion in the sky;
I may not know the moment, or I may not know the day,
But I know that I’ll be leaving when He calls His Church away!

What a day that will be
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.

Until Next Time
