Monday Morning Coffee Chat

I ordered a new mug a month or so back, I'm just now getting around to sharing with you!  I love this mug, the words make me smile!

Not much happening around here so not much to talk about.  I'm looking forward to Tuesday night, it's Family Ladies Night!  A special time set aside to be with my daughters and granddaughters, we'll talk, we'll eat, we'll laugh and we'll catch up!  It will be a great night, I'll tell you all about it next week!

Just Another Coffee Drinker Who Loves To Worship The Lord!
Yep, that's me!  I'd like to give Sylvia at A Grandma's Blessings a shout out for showing this on her facebook page.  That's where I first saw it and ordered it soon after.

Thank You Sylvia!

I made the little mugmat and colored a page just to match the mug.  It was fun!

Mr D and I went on a 'date night' Saturday.  After all these years it's still fun to be with this wonderful man.  We enjoyed going to see a friend of Mr D's play and sing with a band and later went to Dairy Queen for a hamburger!  A simple evening that made precious memories!

BTW, my bucket overflows with precious memories.
I am truly thankful and blessed.

Coffee Trivia....
Kopi Luwak, the world’s most expensive coffee (up to $600 per pound) is beans excreted by a Sumatran wild cat!

Puueeee.....please remind me to never drink that stuff !!

In The News....
La Porte ISD celebrated 100 year anniversary.  A lot of alumni were in town and enjoyed the many festivities going on.

Although both Mr D and I are La Porte High School graduates, we didn't attend any of the activities.  Minor health issues kept me away.  {{sigh}}  Mr D played football and I was in drill team...long ago and far away!

From Our GLOW Study, The Circle Maker....
Prayer is the way we escape the gravitational pull of the flesh and enter God's orbit.  It's the way we escape our atmosphere and enter His space.  It's the way  we overcome our human limitations and enter the extradimensional realm where all things are possible.

Today's Scripture....
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

Until Next Time
