2 Timothy 1:7

Something to Ponder

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and self-discipline.

If we fail to live holy lives, who can we blame? If we refuse to be controlled by the Spirit, who is at fault? We cannot blame God, for He gives us His Spirit; and where His Spirit reigns, the spirit of man is marked by power and love and self-control.

If I do not see these qualities in my life, I can blame no one but myself

  1. Yes! We have a choice in how we will live our lives...either controlled by God's Holy Spirit...or controlled by the world and all its devices. I choose God's Holy Spirit today..and may He be my Guide throughout the new year and forever! Love this. Love that little sign/plaque. Did you make it?

  3. How wonderful it is to know that God's has given us His Spirit to help us. Don't know how I would make it another day without Him. We must choose each day to whom we will serve. I choose to live in His will!

    Happy New Year, Mary!

  4. I needed that reminder today. If I am in fear, I know that it doesn't come from the Lord.
