Tag Tuesday on Wednesday

I recently discovered a new blog - that's always exciting.   It's called Tag Tuesday.   Several years ago I was into 'tags' and enjoyed making them.  Eventually I moved on to other crafts.  I don't know what happened to all my tags, I'm sure they're in a box somewhere.  I just don't feel like looking for them.    With that said, I did keep one tag out and it hangs from a knob on our entertainment center.

Today I'm going join in, even though it's Wednesday.

This week's theme is things that have wings, perfect for the one tag I kept out.

My tag from several years ago.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10

This has certainly given me the bug to start taggin' again.  I don't know, I've already started several small projects since the first, I would love to make some tags too.

Living for Jesus

Living implies life. Life is an everyday experience.

Romans 14:8
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Offering ourselves to God is not something that should be contained within a sixty-minute worship. A living sacrifice is a sacrifice that is alive and continuous in action.

Put your whole self into the arms of God

Colossians 3:23
And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

2 Timothy 1:7

Something to Ponder

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and self-discipline.

If we fail to live holy lives, who can we blame? If we refuse to be controlled by the Spirit, who is at fault? We cannot blame God, for He gives us His Spirit; and where His Spirit reigns, the spirit of man is marked by power and love and self-control.

If I do not see these qualities in my life, I can blame no one but myself

From My Praise Journal

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Psalm 107:1

Each of the four seasons ~ fall, winter, spring, and summer ~ demonstrate creation's thankfulness to a God for a job well done.  The trees bow before heaven as their leaves fall gracefully to the ground.  The glistening snowfall speaks of God's majesty.  Flowers of every kind bow low to the glory of God in the spring, and summer warms to the glow of all the blessings God has to offer.

What a wonderful, giving God we serve.  He stands with an extended hand, ready to give you the desires of your heart.  Thank You Lord, for the greatest gifts, the awesome joys we've experienced, and all the small things I know you have engineered in our life.

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57

Miracles

Throughout our lives we have all seen or heard about something miraculous happening. Whether it's someone being healed, saved, winning something, living long or even being brought back from the brink of death, miracles are defined by the supernatural measures God uses to reveal Himself to us.

When we see or hear about these miracles, it reminds us that God doesn't depend on nature or man's abilities in order to do the impossible. We rely on Him to make these miracles happen. When they are witnessed, it does something to people that they will never forget.

We trust that God will work miracles in our lives in His timing and purpose.

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.
Job 5:9NIV
