Friday Foto Friends

I haven't been out and about to take new pictures!  So I've gone through my picture box and found a couple of old ones you might enjoy...again...

I love this aerial picture of my little town. Just to the left of the water tower is our new fire station, I live somewhere to the right.  Main Street is just outside the picture on the left.

This is Seabreeze Park.  It is a private park for La Porte citizens only.  I don't know how strict the city is on enforcing that, I have been told there are time they will check your ID.  There's a pavilion where my GLOW group has met in the past.  We bring a sack lunch and enjoy the day.  If you stay in the shade, the wind coming off the water keeps you cool enough to enjoy being there!! I love walking out to the end of that pier, the view is amazing.  Maybe I'll do it again soon and get some pictures for you to enjoy.

Early morning sunshine at my place!

  3. The park is a lovely place to spend some time. I'm glad that it is for residents only so you aren't over crowded. Such a lovely little town.

  5. I love that you can see your little town from that vantage point...it looks like a nice community. The park is very nice, reminds me of the park where our "Lovely Ladies of the Lord" like to meet occasionally for our study and lunch. There's something about sitting beside the water that makes me feel closer to the Lord. Perhaps because He spent so much time near and on the water in His ministry. Your back yard looks so peaceful and lovely. Thank you for inviting us to enjoy this time with you. Blessings.

My town has a private park also just for residents and we have beaches on our ocean side just for us as well.
I like your backyard. Very peaceful and pretty.

  7. Hi Mary, You have a lovely backyard and park. The park in our town also has a lake and a pavilion. During the summer only residents have the use of all the facilities. Your town looks like a great place to live. Have a blessed evening and weekend.
