Is There a Heaven?

I received a pamphlet from David Jeremiah titled "Is There A Heaven."  It's very short and I thought I would share with you.  There's four parts and I will share one a day ~  I hope you enjoy...

Is There a Heaven

For centuries, people have asked, "Is there a heaven?"  Countless communities throughout history have believed in an afterlife. . . . in fact, all people have a hunger for eternity.  Out spirits long for more than just this life.  According to the Bible, death is not the end.  Aftr we die, our soul lives on.  When we die, our body goes to the grave, but our spirit, our true being, goes to one of two places: heaven (Paradise) or hell (a place of torment). After death, you will either spend eternity with God or with Satan. . . . separated from God for all time.

God Wants You in Heaven

You might ask: Does anyone care if I go to heaven?  YES!  God cares, and He wants you to go to heaven, and be with Him forever!  The Bible says the angels rejoice when a lost soul is saved .. . . which means, they're ready to celebrate you!

Luke 15:10
Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

God has a specific purpose solely for you, and He wants you to follow it.  God wants you in heaven, and Jesus loves you so much He was willing to die for you.

I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:3

Here are more scriptures about Heaven.  I hope you will get into your Bibles and read them, study them and pray over them.

Isaiah 11:6-8
Isaiah 65:25
Matthew 6:8-15, 20

  2. Amen...

    I believe in Heaven too.

    But...

We weren't created to die, sin did that. We are supposed to live forever. In Heaven one day...but it was supposed to be on Earth. That's why it is so hard when we lose someone. We weren't made for that.

    1. No we weren't made to die, but by the shed Blood of Christ death is just the door to eternity.

  7. I like David Jeremiah. Oh yes, I believe Heaven is our ultimate home for those of us that are saved. This life is just a temporary dwelling place. So glad to catch up Miss Mary. Headed over to see part 2. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
