For Today
I am thinking
of all the activities already on my calendar for the holiday season.
I am thankful
for Mr D...he puts the drops in my eyes because I'm a wimpy old lady who can't do it without blinking and closing my eyes and making the drops go everywhere but into my eyes.
One of my favorite things
God Sightings, I love when things happen and you KNOW it was Him.
I am creating
not much right now.
I am wearing
pj's
I am hoping
our country will turn back to God.
I am learning
to say 'no' and not feel guilty about it.
In my kitchen
In the school room
please don't stop teaching cursive and bring back the Lord's prayer every morning.

I just love your advice, smiles...not that I ever have any money, LOLOL. I just loved your post and do you know, I'm still in my pj's and its 1:47 pm, lol.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful rest of the day, Mary. smiles
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. I love the bible verse you quoted; He is with us every moment ... even to the end of the age. What a comforting thought! Praying for a speedy recovery for your eyes. I too have a large kitchen window that I sit at daily & enjoy the sunshine. God bless you both.
ReplyDeleteHow great that your sweet hubby puts your drops in for you! I tell you frequently but will say again how uplifting your posts always are for me! Thank you for that, dear friend!
ReplyDeleteI like your Post Script ( innocent looking dog).
ReplyDeleteI appreciate that you take time to sit on the porch or by the window to look at the world. So many people are WAY too busy to do just that.
Enjoyed your post today. I'm glad your husband puts your eye drops in for you. It takes focus to get it in the eye and those little bottles are quite hard to squeeze. I really love the light in your mornings and the lovely place where you can sit outside and have your coffee.
ReplyDeletep.s. I forgot to say that I love your scripture verse. We sure do need that comfort in this troubled time.
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteMany children can't read cursive today. It's really kind of sad. So much will be lost to them.
Your kitchen window is great. What a wonderful place to sit and watch.
I enjoyed the puppy and the fainting tree. That does happen you know ;)
Have a lovely Monday.
I love the closing note! Great post today, Mary!
ReplyDeleteThe dog funny made me laugh out loud! John and I love to ride around several times a week. We sometimes end up at DQ for an ice cream! Today our sky was so blue and it warmed up to 60. I enjoyed sitting on the porch late this aft.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed evening. xo
Loved reading your SWD Mary. I especially enjoyed the photos you posted along with it. Have a blessed evening my friend.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to get caught up on everyone's posts, and this was so good. I loved it. Thank you for visiting with us here today. I feel like I've been with you. Love the advice about the money...that made me chuckle...and the tree fainting is great!!! Loved it all.
ReplyDeleteI loved your day book thoughts Mary! So nice to be able to step out on your back porch and enjoy the beautiful weather or look at it from your beautiful kitchen window. My husband I love to take drives too! I always enjoy the fun smiles that you share!
