Who was Jesus? God saves.
What did Jesus come to do? God saves.
God Saves. Jesus was not just godly, godlike, God hungry, God focused, or God worshipping. He was God. Not merely a servant of God, instrument of God, of friend of God, but Jesus was God.
God saves. not God emphasizes, cares, listens, helps, assists, or applauds. God saves. Specifically "he will save his people from their sins." Jesus came to save us, not just from politics, enemies, challenges, or difficulties. He came to save us from our own sins.
Matthew 1:20-21
But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Yes, Jesus Saves us! That is why He came to earth...to save us and set us free! Now that is something to celebrate! Love this! Thank you.
