Family News

My sweet youngest daughter Peggy was taken by ambulance to the hospital early Sunday morning.  She awoke to terrible pain in her abdomen and test show she has an infected gall bladder.  Ouch.

I was so relieved that her hubby Hank was allowed to be with her at the hospital.  After some pain meds Peggy says she is okay and her surgery will be this afternoon.

Sweet Kaylea's pregnancy is going so well, she had a rough start but Praise God she is doing great.
Little Hazel Kay will be here in a few months!

Hard to believe our youngest grandchild will be 22 this month.
Travis and his dad at their cabin in Wyoming.

After several delays, Granddaughter Meagan and her hubby, Joe, have signed on their new home.
They are all moved in and enjoying their new neighborhood.
Emma, Merica, Ava
Maegan says the girls have settled in nicely and are loving their new home.

God gave each of us a special family
that we can call our own.
A family that loves us for who we are
so we would never feel alone.

They may not like everything we do
or everything we say,
but the beautiful thing about "family"
is that they love us anyway.

Sometimes we feel rejected
by people who do not care,
but our hearts are warmed when remembering
that our family is always there!

So hug them a little more often,
for sometimes we hurt the ones we love.
And tell them how much you love them,
for they were sent to you from above.

  2. Thankful your daughter is comfortable before her surgery and that her husband can be with her. You have a beautiful family and I am thankful everything is going smoothly now with the pregnancy and with the move and the children being settled. That's a very sweet poem. Have a pleasant afternoon.

  3. It's wonderful to find out that things are under control and surgeries will happen, babies will be born, and new homes moved into. With a large family there's always a lot going on. It makes life interesting and keeps us young-at-heart ( or gives us gray hair).
