Another Monday, Another Coffee Chat, Christmas Coffee that is!!

I'm so proud of this young lady . . .

Our granddaughter Tara, graduated from the University of Houston. She's worked so hard, being married and working, yet still kept up with her classes.

We have the nicest neighbors!!
They brought us this delightful plate of homemade cookies.
I bet their boys did the decorating, so cute.

Speaking of children decorating Christmas cookies, here's Merica decorating her cookies.

There's nothing as heartbreaking as the death of a loved one.  My heart is hurting for our dear friend Linda, (Just Simply Linda) as her son passed a few days ago.  Sending love and prayers.

Until Next Time

  3. Congratulations to your grandgirly. What a wonderful accomplishment. I know that feeling. Our oldest daughter was married and working pt which she graduated with her Bachelor Degree in Education. It was quite an accomplishment. Mercier is adorable Miss Mary. Yes, we are praying for sweet Linda and Dave as well. Just heartbreaking. Enjoy your coffee sweet friend. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  8. It was wonderful to see your post today. Congratulations to Tara on her graduation. I know how hard it is to work and go to school. Merica looks thrilled to be decorating her cookies. She's so cute.
Those cookies look wonderful. I had every intention of baking bread or cookies for the neighbors here this year but with our house full of dust and workmen it just doesn't seem like a great idea.
I'm sorry about Linda's son, I'll be praying for her and the family. We have had two close friends put on hospice in the past few days. It's never easy but this time of year when everything seems to be so joyful it just makes things that much harder to bear.
    Wishing you a blessed day.

What a wonderful accomplishment!! And I hope you have a blessed and beautiful Christmas. Yes, Linda and Dave are so much in my thoughts and prayers.
