Thursday Blessing

Mr D and I were enjoying our coffee on the porch this afternoon while reading scriptures from my Bible.  I found this poem tucked in the pages and thought I would share with you.

SHOWING JESUS

I want to be a living statement

To what our God can do.

And so, I must be careful

in the actions that I choose.

My words must be compassionate.

My actions must be kind.

My choices must be favorable

To Jesus every time.

My words and my behavior

Must point to Jesus Christ

Proclaiming of His promises

That help me get through life.

Showing of His patience,

His grace, and charity.

Reflecting of the goodness

He is inside of me.

If God indeed is Master

Of the story of my life,

Then my actions should reflect that

And my choices testify.

We had a great time yesterday!  The daughters and their hubbies came for lunch and fellowship!!!

I made it easy on myself and let Dairy Queen feed us, yep, hamburgers and french fries, iced tea and cheesecake for dessert

Just so ya know, the cheesecake wasn't from Dairy Queen, Mr Kroger made it for me. 😀

This picture is a few years back, but we haven't changed that much!!

Blessing to All
Until Next Time
