Photo-a-day Black & White

ChrissyT's Photo-a-day

July 19th

Today's Word: Black & White

This clock hangs in my she-shed aka spare bedroom!

Bitsy was in yesterday's post, but I can't let black and white go by and leave her behind.

Our first born is celebrating her birthday today!
Happy, Happy Birthday Tracey.

Until Next Time
To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life our redemption to win,
And opened the life-gate that all may go in.

Photo-a-day

 Photo-a-day with ChrissyT

July 18th

Today's Word: animal/insect

My photo today was taken a few years ago by Tammy. She had just arrived at the house when she noticed a hawk perched on the street light.  At the time we had Bitsy Baby and Buddy Boy and I was always alert to hawks flying around because they are famous for diving at little creatures.

Another photo of Tammy while she was on a mission trip to Africa.

My girl so far from home and loving on an elephant! WoW

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for my family. And it’s not just blood ties
but the deep bonds we have with each other.

🎵There's a dark and a troubled side of life
There's a bright and a sunny side, too
Though we meet with the darkness and strife
The sunny side we also may view🎜

I am thankful for friends. They are not just friends,
they are extended family.

I am thankful for pets who are in my heart. Buddy Boy and Bitsy Baby.

I am thankful for health professionals. Mr D and I have health issues
and we have some great doctors/specialist and surgeons.

The storm and its fury broke today
Crushing hopes that we cherished so dear
Clouds and storm will in time pass away
The sun again will shine bright and clear

I am thankful for technology and connectivity. We are able to connect with
friends and family, and even meet new friends. We get to have
food delivered online, shop clothes online, watch various content online, and more.
Because it's hard for me to go into a store to shop, online shopping is a blessing.

I am thankful for our home. A basic need and I am blessed
to live in a sweet little bungalow by the bay.

Celebrating the engagement of Cody and Priscilla.
I am thankful for celebrations. Celebrating events with family & friends, so much fun.

🎶Let us greet with a song of hope each day
Though the moment be cloudy or fair
Let us trust in our savior always
Who keep us every one in his care 🎝

I know we live in difficult times, and I know that many are going through challenging times.
To quote the one of a kind, Betty White, “if you focus on the negatives, you spoil all the good stuff,
and it goes by, and it’s gone, and you haven’t tasted it.” Try to always stay on the sunny side of life.

🎜Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side
Keep on the sunny side of life
It will help us every day, it will brighten all the way
If we'll keep on the sunny side of life 🎶

Until Next Time

A New Sunset

A New Year

Time for New Beginnings.

God created the world as a sphere, which rotates on its axis every 24 hours and revolves around the sun every 365 days, ensuring we have an endless supply of new begginings.

A new year can signal a new you and me.  It provides us an opportunity for fresh starts.

I don't make resolutions, never  could keep them anyway.  But I do strive to make the coming year better than the last.

With that said, we don't have to wait for a new year, each morning is a new beginning, a time to make each day better than the day before.  In Psalm 65:8 we are told,  Where morning dawns, where evening fade, you call forth songs of joy.

Be joyful that we are given this blessing of new beginnings.

Let's begin this new year, and this new day,  praising God for the blessing of new beginnings.  He has so much in store for us, how can we not give Him praise and glory.

We had a sad New Year's Eve, Zeke, our sweet grand dogbaby croseed over the Rainbow Bridge.  He has been very sick the past few monthes, for a while medicines were keeping him comfortable and free from pain.  Sadly, the meds could no longer control his issues.

It's very hard to say goodbye to our precious pets.

Zeke lived and was loved at TamBo Ranch.

Until Next Time
