It's a fact of life,
we don't always get what we want.
We've been learning that lesson since we were toddlers. Now that we're not a child anymore we must remember there's a difference between having everything we want and being satisfied.
God doesn't promise to fulfill our every craving, but if we live life in relationship with Him, we will be satisfied ~ fully satisfied.
The desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.

ReplyDeleteI think it is good that God doesn't always give us what we want, because sometimes what we want is not good for us. He always gives us what we need. :)
ReplyDeleteAt my age I pray for good health and a roof over my head and that's about it, lol...
ReplyDeleteOh this is a good one. Wish I'd read this earlier in the week - saved myself a little grief!
