The church in America needs weep and wail over what happened yesterday with the Supreme Court decision.
I personally believe that in allowing that decision, our Sovereign Holy God has written “Ichabod” (“the glory has departed”) from America.

So what are we who hold to Truth, the Word of God, to do? We need to prepare to count all things as loss for the excellency of knowing Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:8), memorize and live Galatians 2:20 and remember what Jesus told His disciples in John 15:17-18: “ This I command you, that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.”
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Many Christian hearts are heavy. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Such a sad time for America.

My heart is heavy this morning also Mary,for those that refuse to obey God and except His truths.
ReplyDeleteI like what Franklin Graham and Alveda King (MLK Niece) said, "God's law trumps common law." Yes, indeed, I will follow God and not the lawlessness that is going on. ReplyDeleteI believe that the ultimate judgement will come. It is not for us to judge. We need to only love one another as our Lord has told us. My heart is heavy over this and so many other things the current administration has brought down on Americans. But my faith is strong and my trust firm.
ReplyDeleteLove that song. But my heart breaks Miss Mary as I am learning all the more that even well meaning or said to be Christians DOES not stand up for Jesus! They are simply satisfied. ReplyDeletei know our christians hearts are very heavy since the ruling last week. I've been having much anxiety with all the "hate" being done on Christians. I hope we can survive two more years and get someone in the white house who loves Jesus!
