Joy is the compelling
quality of life that transcends the events and disasters which comes against
us. Joy is a divine dimension of living
that is not shackled by circumstances. The Hebrew word means, “to leap or spin
around with pleasure.” In the New Testament the word refers to “gladness, bliss
and celebration.”
One of the hallmarks of Christian joy is that it can be experienced in the midst of intense sorrow and loss.

Joy to the world! The Lord is come
Let earth receive her King!
Let every heart prepare Him room
Let earth receive her King!
Let every heart prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven, and heaven and nature sing
And heaven and nature sing
And heaven, and heaven and nature sing
Joy to the world! the Savior reigns
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods
Rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods
Rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy
Until Next Time
Keep the Joy of God in your Heart!
