Hello February!
It's so good to see you!
And just look who I'm having coffee with this morning! My sweet Sock Monkey and Love Bear!
I've been a little puny the past few days, laying low with my box of Kleenex and cough drops. Thankfully, it hasn't been too bad and I hope I'm already on the road to recovery.
Sweet daughter Tammy brought me some homemade chicken noodle soup....oh my...it was so good. Made me feel much better!
I finally watched "War Room." What a wonderful testament to God's glory. If you haven't watched it please put it on your list. You will certainly be blessed. Priscilla Shirer, daughter of Pastor Tony Evans, is one of the stars and she was great. This lady is not a professional actress, but you sure wouldn't know it, she was awesome. She has a wonderful ministry and I hope some day to be able to see her speak. Learn more about this amazing young woman by CLICKING HERE
Awww...just look at those sweet faces.
Love is the air!
I've been coloring so much that I haven't picked my cross-stitch up in days. I was wanting to finish this particular stitching because it was for January. Well, too late now! So, the question is, do I go ahead and finish it now or do I start the pattern for February and hope I can finish it? Oh my,
decisions, decisions!
I'm almost through one of my coloring pages...will be sharing soon.
I know we've all talked about the weather so much this year ~ but ~ let me just say this..
it's been crazy down here in my part of Texas. We have a couple of cool, sometimes cold, days and then we're back in the 70's. No wonder so many of us are sick. A/C for a day or two and then turning the heat back on for a couple of days!
Whine ~ Whine ~ Whine...
I think I posted about whining a few days ago.
Let's just move on!
Valentine Pretty
It's no secret how much I love pretty mugs, they just make my coffee taste better! I had forgotten about this pretty mug and was pleasantly surprised when it popped up in my Valentine 'stuff.'
Do you use that word, stuff?
I use it all the time!!
I've got a lot of STUFF. lol

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God.

My ladies group, GLOW, is starting a new study this week. I've anxiously been waiting for this one!
The Circle Maker by Mark Batterson
In The Circle Maker, Mark Batterson introduces you to the possibility of a deeper, more passionate, persistent, and more intimate prayer life. Sharing powerful insights from the true legend of Honi the circle maker, a first-century Jewish sage whose bold prayer ended a drought and saved a generation, you will learn a new way to pray. Discover the power of bold prayer and even bolder faith in God's promises.
In Matthew 21, Jesus tells us, "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." However, most of the time we pray, we only ask for the small things. We're afraid to ask for what we really want, or to be passionate in our petitions. Do you ever sense that there's far more to prayer, and to God's vision for your life, than what you're experiencing? What impossibly big dream is God calling you to draw a prayer circle around?
Yep, I think this is going to be a great study! Wish you were here to enjoy it with us. I'll try to share along the way.
What an awesome post full of Love and Truths. I'm really glad to be out of February....hoping for no snow, unless it immediately melts...LOL We both had a lot the same thoughts today...kindred Spirits!!! 😘

ReplyDeleteI hope by now you are feeling better. Your post made me smile and feel warm and fuzzy and full of love. Thank you for these wonderful thoughts. The Bible Study sounds great. I'd like to hear more about it. Might want to do that too. I may have to look that up. Thank you for sharing your life with us, and most of all for sharing Jesus with us. You are a blessing.
