Wednesday Questions #3

Today's questions are kinda useless in my opinion, but they were on the list, so here we go!

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?

I didn't have a car until I married Mr D.  Then his car became our car.  It was a little white Chevy Corvair, very popular back in the day!!

WHAT IS YOUR FANTASY CAREER
It's a little late in life for me to have a career, fantasy or otherwise.

ARE YOU A LEFTY OR A RIGHTY?
I'm a righty.

FAVORITE CLOTHING BRAND?

My favorite designer is , "Mr. Clearance."  I always look for his rack when I go shopping!

WHAT'S YOUR DREAM CAR?
I've never been into dream cars.  I just want a car that starts, go's, stops and has a/c.

WHAT COLOR IS IT?
Are you asking about the color of my dream car?  Any color would be okay.

DO YOU LIKE SPICEY FOOD?

A little spicey, nothing that makes my stomach yell at me.

WOULD YOU FALL IN LOVE KNOWING THAT THE PERSON IS LEAVING?
I don't think you can always control who you fall in love with...

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO TELL SOMEONE HOW MUCH THEY MEAN TO YOU?
Actions speak louder than words.

WRITE A NUMBER FROM ONE TO A HUNDRED!

Crazy question...
Seventy-one

No matter what your past has been,
Trust God to understand.
And no matter what your problem is
Just place it in His hand ~
For in all of our unloveliness,
Our great God loves us still ~
He loved us since the world began
And what's more, He always will.

Until Next Time
((hugs)) & Blessings!

  1. I usually visit on my phone, so I don't get to see your background....so pretty! I don't have a dream car, either...I just want one of my own so I can quit having to drive Pappy's big ole truck (I feel like I'm driving a semi). Happy Wednesday, sweet Friend. HOPE your day is chock full of blessings.

  3. Where do you get your questions? I love these kind of posts. My first car was our family car. A red Chevy Nova but the first one I bought myself was a red Vega...yes, it sounded like a sewing machine and didn't last long. But I loved it because it was all mine.

    1. I felt the same way about the Corvair! I found a list of 100 questions on google. I didn't bookmark it or I would share with you. I'm going to be gone most of the day, I'll try to find them for you tonight.

  4. Well, I LOVED your answers and didn't find the questions silly at all. "My favorite designer is , "Mr. Clearance."" Hey - mine too!! Made me giggle, that one did!

  5. My first car was a corvair..and the day I took it out it broke down on the highway. I was lucky the person who sold it to me took it back! Found the answers interesting, letting me know more about you!

  6. Such a fun post, Mary! I didn't have a car either until we married. It was a l950 Chevy, green, and I had to put a pillow behind me when I drove. lol It's name was "ol Liz". Now I have a red Jeep but I never get to drive it; I think the farmer must have had a bad dream about me driving because he always wants to take me wherever I need to go. Now I'm so used to driving the side-by-side around the farm on any side of the road, I might not be safe on the highway anyway. :)

  7. My first car was a 1966 Malibu. After a couple of years, I traded it in for a brand new 1969 Camaro. The payments were $88 per month. When we bought our son a truck, I told him about my car payments and he said, gee, your parents let you have a car with payments? I said yes, that's because I was paying for the car myself, not them! Kids these days don't get that.

  8. Enjoyed your answers. You're right, I don't know I would have answered some of these questions either. My "dream" car was a red Corvette. Never got one. My first car - a VW Squareback. Have a great day.

  9. Well Miss Mary I will chime in too.
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR? A used....VERY USED blue volkswagon! It was broke down more than it worked! It actually was such a piece of junk my grandfather gave me a couple of 100 bucks to help pay for school clothes my senior year of high school and he made an hunting buggy out it. My first car as married woman at the age of 18 was a used galaxy 500! Loved that all old car.
    WHAT IS YOUR FANTASY CAREER
Well I believe I am living it right now. I work 3 days a week outside the home for a Sister church as their administrative secretary and do what I love and love what I do! This will probably be my last career unless the Lord has something up His sleeve...and that is always a possibility. LOL.

ARE YOU A LEFTY OR A RIGHTY?
    A lefty

    FAVORITE CLOTHING BRAND?
LOL. Love your answer. I don't have a brand. If I see something that I really like then I'm good regardless of brand.
    WHAT'S YOUR DREAM CAR?
Miss Mary, our way of thinking is a lot alike....wonder if it's an age thing with us? LOL! I take no pride in my ride.....I want something dependable and AC is a must!

    WHAT COLOR IS IT?
Well if we are talking about cars I prefer white! They usually are cheaper in price and easier to keep cool cause I dang sure don't like being hot at my age.

    DO YOU LIKE SPICEY FOOD?
YES but it does not like me at all and I have to watch it.

WOULD YOU FALL IN LOVE KNOWING THAT THE PERSON IS LEAVING?
I'm not sure how I even feel about this question Miss Mary.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO TELL SOMEONE HOW MUCH THEY MEAN TO YOU?
LOVE YOUR ANSWER and that is mine too! Actions speak louder than words.

  10. I love your answers! I am a clearance shopper, too. My first car was a red VW bug, which cost $1400.00. I saved half and my Dad loaned me the other $700.00. I paid him back. When it comes to love, you are so right...you can't control who you fall in love with.
