Monday Morning Coffee Chat 11/21

It's Monday, Let's Chat!

If God came in a coffee cup
We'd seek Him every morn.
We'd look to Him for strength and wit
Then seek to have Him more.

We'd praise Him for the energy
That gets us through each day.
We'd share Him with a friend or two
To brighten up their day.

If God came in a coffee cup
We'd keep Him close at hand.
Never getting quite enough
Of this life bestowing Man.

We'd carry Him  to work and school.
We'd take Him when we shop.
We'd put Him in a travel mug
So we'd never lose a drop.

If God came in a coffee cup
We'd always seek Him first.
We'd never go a day without Him
With God we'll never thirst.

This Weeks Quote:
It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible. Do not ever let anyone claim to be a true American patriot if they ever attempt to separate Religion from politics.
George Washington

Do You Know...
the difference between education and experience?
Education is when you read the fine print;
experience is what you get when you don't.

1 Chronicles 16:34
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever!

On This Day....
The American inventor announces his invention of the phonograph, a way to record and play back sound.   Edison stumbled on one of his great inventions–the phonograph–while working on a way to record telephone communication at his laboratory in Menlo Park, New Jersey. His work led him to experiment with a stylus on a tinfoil cylinder, which, to his surprise, played back the short song he had recorded, “MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB”. Public demonstrations of the phonograph made the Yankee inventor world famous, and he was dubbed the “Wizard of Menlo Park.”

Happy, Happy Birthday to my youngest daughter.  Peggy, no matter how old you get you'll always be the youngest sister!

Today's Trivia!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful son-in-law, Bo!  Hang in there Bo, retirement is just around the corner!

It's going to be a very busy week around here!  Grocery shopping on Tuesday, cooking on Wednesday, Thanksgiving with family and friends on Thursday, resting on Friday and hopefully on Saturday I'll go to Morning Glow for breakfast, lot's of coffee and lot's of chatter!!

Until Next Time

Psalm 7:17
I will give to the LORD the thanks due to his righteousness,
and I will sing praise to the name of the LORD, the Most High.
