The Fruit of the Spirit shows Jesus in me.
LOVE
I will put others first.
JOY
I will be okay with what I have.
PEACE
I won't be afraid because I trust in God.
PATIENCE
I will wait without complaining.
KINDNESS
I will be nice to everyone.
GOODNESS
I will do what is right.
FAITHFULNESS
I will not quit.
GENTLENESS
I will care for others.
SELF-CONTROL
I will think before I act.
Galatians 5:22-23a
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Galatians 5:22-23a
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
I had a wonderful birthday lunch with the family. My son had to work and couldn't come, there were also two grandsons and one great granddaughter who weren't there. With a family this size it's very hard to get everyone together at the same time.
Very Blessed
This is my (our) birthday cake from GLOW. Homemade by Arlene and it was so good. The reason I say 'our' is because my dear friend of over 40 years, Sandra, also a GLOWer, has a birthday on the 23rd, mine is on the 24th ~ we have shared many birthdays!
It's taking longer for the sun to go down and I've enjoyed some evenings on the porch. Still waiting for new blooms to appear. The rose bush is blooming but the hibiscus hasn't come out yet. Even though we've been having spring weather, it's still early for hibiscus to bud.
The fruit of the Spirit is the natural produce of His gracious inward influence, the spontaneous and inevitable result of His uniting us to Jesus Christ.

ReplyDeleteThank you for doing the fruit of the Spirit. I have never seen it presented quite that way before but it certainly does take God's Word and put it into practical every day living out His character in us. Loved it!
