The Simple Woman's Daybook

Looking out my window
and I see a rainy day.

(prepared this post yesterday, today the sun is shining!)

I am thinking
I need to get up and do something. Yesterday was a long day and I was up late last night.  I sure am moving slow today,  maybe I'll just keep rocking and listening to the rain fall.

I am thankful
for the many things God has provided.  So blessed to be His child.

One of my favorite things
is family gatherings! The family will all be together this weekend for
Mr. D's birthday.

I am creating
another cross stitch, a wonderful pass time.

I am wearing
pj's, did I mention I was up late last night?

I am reading (read) /watching (watched) / listening to
the radio right now, I'm reading My Journey to Heaven by Marvin J. Besteman, I haven't been watching much lately. 

I am hoping to
GLOW ( my ladies group) again soon.  I've missed several weeks now.

I am learning to
trust God more and more.

In my kitchen making
coffee, pouring coffee, drinking coffee.  Can you tell I don't do much in the kitchen these days!

A moment from my day

I enjoy sitting at the table and looking out the window.  There is a birdbath right outside and the birds will sometimes put on quite a show, bathing and splashing.

Closing Notes

Lord, It is easy for us to become attached to things on this earth. All of it is temporary. When we leave here we are not taking any of it with us. Help us to center our affections on You! Our permanent home is with You in heaven! There we will love You, worship You and live with You forever.
