Time to link with Terri @ Your Friend From Florida for. . .
Here we go . . . long ago and far away!
I don't remember this picture being taken, I was only one! I do remember how much I loved my big brothers.
By 1951 I had lost my 'most spoiled' crown to this little fellow, baby brother Wayne.
Oh yes, he was rotten. When mother was in the nursing home the staff nicknamed him 'The Golden Boy.' Oh my...gag!! 😀😀😀

No, I'm playing, love him dearly. It's just he and I now and I enjoy every minute I can spend with him. 💗💗💗
(I think Mr D snapped this picture before Wayne was ready! lol )
Until Next Time
Our family's like a patchwork quilt,
With kindness gently sewn;
Each piece is an original,
With beauty of it's own.
With threads of warmth and happiness,
It's tightly stitched together
To last in love throughout the years,
Our family is forever.
:) sweet memories!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos and memories! I have one brother about 14 years older than me. I think I was more of a babysitter to him than a sister as he was growing up. Thanks for sharing your memories.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this, Mary. It's always fun to see a family grow up and see the closeness you shared. You must have had a wonderful childhood.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet memories! 💜
ReplyDeleteOh Mary, I loved your pictures. You lucky girl, having two big brothers and another one to spoil. I expect it took the wind out of your sails for a bit to no longer be the baby. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteMy bro is 11 years older than me. My sister who is gone now was 17 years older than me. It was fun being the baby. I love old photos. Hugs, lj
ReplyDeleteOh my, I laughed out loud at your aside, 'gag'! I always wanted a sibling ... and prayed for one (or several) -- but I guess Mr. God had something else in mind. (Still waiting, lol!)
ReplyDeleteI love black & white pictures from the past. I had 3 older brothers and I was the youngest for 11 years! I don't remember being much bothered by the 2 little girls that came along late in my Mom's life. Now they are my great friends.
ReplyDeleteYou are blessed to have your baby brother in your life! Love the photo, even if he wasn't ready!! Thanks for joining in today!!
ReplyDeleteOh I love your family photos...so precious...I know you miss those big brothers. How wonderful you have a "baby brother" to still enjoy. Great B&W photos. I will have to get busy and do this next Wednesday...remind me, ok? :)
