Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird

That kept so many warm.

From:
Hope is The Thing With Feathers
by Emily Dickinson

I enjoyed a great week-end.  GLOW on Saturday is always a good time.  We've been meeting at the church and loving it, so much more room and much better than meeting in a restaurant.  We plan to meet at the church when we're doing a Bible study, other times we'll go to a restaurant. We've been bringing our own lunch but last week one of the ladies made King Ranch Chicken and brought it to share.  Yummy!

Sunday afternoon our daughter and her hubby came by for a visit and later in the afternoon we went out to eat.

I almost forgot to tell you what I did on Friday!

I've been wanting pink  yep I said  pink ~ hilites, so, I did it!

Pink on silver!!
It's a temporary spray so it will wash out, but it's a fun thing to do.  We went to eat Friday night and I received three compliments,
one was from a gentleman!  lol

And my GLOW Sisters loved it!!

Until Next Time
Enjoy living day by day as the Lord provides.

  6. Squealing with delight over your hair!!! LOVE IT!!! I want dark purple, and hubby goes, "You want a divorce? 52 year old women do not dye their hair purple. Grow up Linda!" (rofl--are you laughing now, Mary?)

Thank you for the many smiles.

    1. Yep, I'm laughing!! Sounds like what Mr D said about my hair. I just told him could put some pink in his hair too! lol He rolled his eyes! When the gentlemen complimented my pink I just looked at Mr D and grinned. He didn't grin back. rofl
