The Three "S's"

I had a wonderful reminder this morning from Patsy Clairmont.

She said one of the best things you can do each morning is
make a joyful shout unto the Lord.

GOOD MORNING LORD
THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER DAY!

She also reminded me to resolve each and every morning to serve Him with gladness. . .

. . . and sing a little song of praise.

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!  Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.
Psalm 100:1-2

Do you ever sing a scripture?  Just sing, any ol' melody will do.  I confess I don't do that often but I do love to sing old church hymns.  Those old hymns take me into His presence and give me a heart of worship and praise.  It's a wonderful experience.

Hope everyone is doing well and remember...
Shout, Serve, Sing!!

Until Next Time

  1. That is the best way to start a day! For many years, I bought the Scripture memory songs from Integrity. A great way to memorize scripture and sing it, too!

  2. Oh I love this. Psalm 100 is one of my favorites...the first one I can remember learning as a child besides the 23rd Psalm. And I do love to sing the Psalms...I often do when I read them. Thank you for this. Such a wonderful reminder..and so good to see you blogging!!!! I miss you.

  6. I am not much of a singer but when I was with my brother in the hospital as he was living his last hours, one of their friends came and she sang a prayer for him. It was beautiful. No real tune but more like a chant. I was in awe.

  7. Oh yes, you should hear me (or maybe not) singing (or making a noise" joyfully along with the gospel songs on the radio.
