This week's questions are:
Around the House
4. What kind of house do you live in or is it an apartment. Describe it. What changes would you make to it if you could?
1. Do you have pets ? What kind of pets do you have? Photos?
I have two little Chi's that are so demanding!
They are sweet little stinkers and I love them.
2. Do you have a weekly menu you plan out? Would you share it with us, or perhaps a short list of meals you make often? It gives other people ideas?
When the kids were still at home I always had a weekly menu planned and a grocery list ready! I tried to only grocery shop once a week ~ there were times when a second trip was needed but not often.
One of the meals I would prepare was beef tips cooked in the crock pot. I would use stew meat, seasoned and dredged in flour, layered in the crock pot, add mushroom soup and a little water. All I had to do after that was make some rice and supper was ready by the time Mr D got home from work. My family loved it and it was a great meal to make after I went back to work.

3.Where do you do your grocery shopping? Do you like that store or do you go to others to fill in the gaps?
The only grocery we have in our small town is Kroger and that's where we shop. On rare occasion we will go to a neighboring town and shop at HEB. The neighboring town is very close, in fact, when you leave our town you are in the next town. From here to Houston one community runs into another.
4. What kind of house do you live in or is it an apartment. Describe it. What changes would you make to it if you could?
We live in a small bungalow in town, not far from the bay. It was quite an adjustment moving here from our larger home, but we wanted to downsize....so we did. I miss our old home, we were there for 35 years and it's the home where our children were raised. I still miss that house but we're very comfortable in our Bayside Bungalow. If I could make a change I would have more storage, hard to get that in a small home.
Hi Mary, cute furbabies! I understand the downsize, but you live by the bay!
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing about HEB. We do not have them here. I usually shop at the Publix near my home. I could go to Walmart but Publix is so much nicer even if a bit more expensive.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...and whenever you post photos of the inside of your home, its is beautiful, smiles. Have a great day Mary.
ReplyDeleteLIfe on the Bay must make up for any problem with downsizing. We are looking to downsize this year! Stairs and big yard are doing us in!!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute puppies!! Living on the bay would be heavenly! Have a great Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteLove the pups! It must be heavenly living on the bay! Have a great Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures of your adorable puppies.
ReplyDeleteAgree with your #4 answer, I would love to have more storage space too.
Have a great Tuesday.
I love your pups!!! I adore little dogs. Our towns are so similar, it is amazing. My house is too small, but i didn't downsize. I would love a bigger home as I have zero place for anything. Also I find being disabled you need a larger home as well. Oh well, be happy where you are planted, I tell myself.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining in. I was afraid no one would.
I am happy that Tuesday 4 has a new life and will join in next week! I enjoyed reading your answers and that beef sounds really good!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your answers.
ReplyDeleteI think all of us want more storage. When we divided our house I lost many closets and I sure miss that space.
Oh my goodness!! Your doggies are so cute! They are so much company aren't they?
ReplyDeleteYour town sounds lovely and so does your home! Loved your answers. Have a nice week.
