Wednesday Hodgepodge

Time to link with This Side of the Pond for Wednesday Hodgepodge !

1. When is the last time you experienced nostalgia?

I experience it often, it only takes a special song or memory.  I am a very sentimental person.

2. September 29th is National Coffee Day. Do we need this? Ha! So are you a coffee drinker? If so how many cups per day, and tell us how you like it. Is there a recipe you enjoy that calls for coffee as one of the ingredients?

I am a coffee hound!  We drink a lot of coffee, a couple of cups every morning, afternoon and evening.  We enjoy the 1/2 caffeine by Folgers.  During the fall months I enjoy flavored creamers in my afternoon coffee, other than that I drink my coffee black and hot!!

3. Do you find praise or criticism to be more motivating? Explain.

It's so much better to praise than criticize, it makes you and the recipient feel better.  There is a big difference between correction and criticism.

4. What's a television series you keep coming back to and re-watching?

I like what I call the old classics, old sitcoms and westerns from the 50's and 60's.

5. As the month of September draws to a close give us three words to describe your mood.

Waiting With Patience
Waiting for cooler weather.
Waiting for Thanksgiving.
Waiting for Christmas.!
And most of all, we're waiting for our 4th great granddaughter to be born TODAY!

6. Insert your own random thought here.

Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow!!

Until Next Time

I too am a very sentimental person and I find that the older I become the more sentimental I am. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the new addition. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  6. How exciting that you have a new arrival coming today!! Congratulations! A fun Hodgepodge!! I grew up in a coffee drinking family. There was always coffee in the pot. Now I drink one cup in the morning. Not sure what changed... retirement perhaps. I used to drink 2-3-4 cups a day at work, I guess.

  7. I, too, find the 'olden' TV shows more comforting. Guess I just don't 'get' what passes for humor these days. Praying for Hazel's safe delivery ... and looking forward to pictures. Congratulations!

  8. Exciting to wait for the newest great-grandbaby to be born. I look forward to hearing all about her.
I never used to drink much coffee but nowadays I sure do. Hot, strong, and Black ( but mostly Decaf or I can't sleep). I still drink tea as well both Earl Grey and also herbal kinds.

  9. I used to be really addicted, drinking several cups a day but now my morning coffee is it for me. It gets my engine going then I switch to water.
