Happy Homemaker

It seems I'm always late to the party!

Happy Homemaker Monday on Tuesday!

Today I'm linking with

Diary of a Stay at Home Mom, for

                                           Happy Homemaker Monday

 ♥♥The Weather♥♥

Hot and muggy, certainly not the normal December weather.  I don't like it one bit.

 ♥♥How I am feeling this morning♥♥

All is good, a little slow getting started these days.

 ♥♥On my mind♥♥

Lots of things, my mind is one busy place.

 ♥♥On the breakfast plate♥♥

Our usual, one brown sugar poptart, one banana and a hot cup of coffee.

♥♥On my reading pile♥♥

I started The Loyal Angel before Christmas and had to put it down for a few days.  Hope to get back to it soon.

 ♥♥On my tv♥♥

It's almost noon and I'm watching the midday news.  Although the news can be depressing, I like to keep up with the local news and weather.  I don't watch the national news very often, most of the time it makes me angry.

♥♥On the menu this week♥♥

This is always a hard question for me, I really have no idea what we'll be eating this week.  One thing for sure, we will eat!

♥♥From the camera♥♥

Beautiful flowers from Mr D.

Mr D brings me fresh flowers often, it's such a nice thing.

♥♥Looking around the house♥♥

Remnants of Christmas.

♥♥New recipe I tried last week, or one that we really enjoyed♥♥

No recipe to share. :(

♥♥To relax this week, I will♥♥

Plan on doing some reading and I started a new cross stitch I want to finish. With the warm temps we're having I've been able to do some porch-sitting.  I know I'll be 'just a swangin' on the porch.

♥♥Something I want to share♥♥

♥♥On my prayer list♥♥

A dear friend's hubby just went home to be with the Lord.  Prayers of comfort to her and her children.

And last but now least...
Something I want to share!

This is my great grand Madison, with her daughter Adalyn, who is my gg grand!

Until Next Time

  3. Both Madison and Adalyn are beautiful. Adalyn's eyes are gorgeous. How lucky you are that Mr. D sends you flowers often. When we lived in Spokane there was a Trader Joe's just a few minutes away and I used to pick up flowers once in awhile. Their flowers last so long, sometimes even 3 weeks! Now the only TJ's that I know of is about 1/2 hour away. I'm not doing that just for flowers. I ended up packing away most of the Christmas decorations today since nothing else was going on. It looks so much less cluttered.
I pray that you have a lovely week and stay safe and well.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  5. Oh my, that sweet precious baby and and Great Granddaughter...what???Can that be true? Beautiful girls! I don't plan menus much either. We look at the specials at the store each week and I decide what I can afford to buy in the way of meat especially...and that will determine our menu. Sometimes we go to the store a few times a week...just because it's convenient, and we like to go there even if just for milk or bread. People there are friendly and even let us know when they have fresh hot cookies coming out of the oven in the bakery! I know it is warm these days, but winter is still coming, so enjoy your porch sitting while you can!! Take care and God bless you both. Love those flowers...He's a keeper!

I'm looking forward to warm days when I can be out on the porch swing but that is unfortunately a few months in the future.
I think it's so sweet that Mr.D keeps bringing you lovely flowers.
