Just For Fun

Would you be upset if I called you a

LIBROCUBICULARIST ?

Be honest, no hurt feelings here . . .

What in the world is that you might ask . . .

Keep Scrolling while you think about it...

I'll will tell you I would not be upset . . .

Do You Read in Bed, if so you are a . .

LIBROCUBICULARIST !

Of Latin origin, liber (“book”) + Latin cubiculum (“bedroom”), from cubō (“lie down”) . A person who reads in bed

I learned a new word today, maybe you did too!

It's 8:44am and I'm sitting by our big front window, it's so dark outside because of the thunderstorm that's happening right now.  The branches on the big oak tree across the street are dancing.  I'm cozy inside with Bitsy by my side, coffee is hot and life goes on.
Thank You Lord!

Until Next Time

  2. What do you know? Guilty, party of one! I'm going to have to ask my phone to pronounce this.

PS - I'll never forget the (now deceased) blogger who was fond of saying, "Every day is a school day."

  7. Never heard of that word before! Funny! Would love to hear it pronounced. I am NOT one, however. I do not read in bed. It's too hard to sit and hold the book and get proper lighting, etc. I prefer my recliner. My bed is for sleeping, and if I try to read in there I would just go to sleep! LOL. Oh, I hope your storms were not too severe! I wish you could send us some rain! We are so hot and dry! Been smelling smoke and I am concerned about forest fires starting when it is this dry and hot, coupled with wind. So, Lord, please send the rain! Take care my friend, and thank you for the new word!!

    1. The storm moved out by noon leaving it muggy and HOT. Humidity is very high. {{sigh}}

  11. That's funny Miss Mary. I'd never heard that word before. I wish I could read in bed but never have been able too. I do enjoy reading a good book though. Happy June. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  12. That is quite a word! And nope, I'm not one. :) I hope the thunderstorm and wind didn't do any damage. We're supposed to get a lot of rain in the next couple of days and they're warning of flash floods. Thankfully we live in an area that doesn't flood.

  13. Guilty as charged! LOL I'm in bed early nearly every night to read. The other day we had darkness due to storms as well. Kind of eerie feeling! Have a great week.
